August 04 2006 Dirty Hair-y

I desperately needed a new hairstyle and the reports of my colleagues about '600 USD haircuts' did not make me really confident where to go. After all, with my hair, no one can really do a lot wrong or right. I decided in favor of  the hairdresser in the basement of our bank; close by taking into account the 4000 employees there, the guy has his good reputation at stake anyway, doesn't he?

I got an appointment rather quickly, the hairdresser's shop is small and unsanitary, the guy washed my head with one hand while he sipped a strawberry shake with the other. Whilst he did the new hairstyle using a rickety pair of scissors with only 10 cuts he told me the history of the destiny of his 'third world' nation and I thought of whom or what he has been shearing in his home country. Here in NY no certificate of competence is really necessary, a big mouth is enough and that's what he obviously  had. While he was burning up my hair and my scalp with his hairdryer he was complaining about the terrible products I have been applying causing such atrocious hair, I suspired too too and bohght  a shampoo for 14 USD, paid  in the end a total amount of over 90 USD and learned another lesson over here. Surprisingly the haircut is not bad at all, but as I have  already mentioned, there is no chance to do much wrong or right with my hair.

P.S. here a little addendum
I carry the new hairdo  to the harbor where another of those evening skys expects me, one of these evening moods i would rate as the most beautiful I've ever seen, the sky is rose, purple, vanilla and  blue, really gorgeous, that's why i was taking some more pictures:
