09 June 2007 - Back Home
Dear
friends, as promised, find below some pictures of my re-entry
into the land of small cars, high mountains and walking sticks.
It feels good to be back home, but some things seem to be
amazingly strange….
- The paper format is different and there are only two
holes (punched with a
p(l)uncher)
- Te z and y are in some way interchanged
on the Swiss kezboard …… that drives me compltlz crazz….
- The Trams (Swiss form of 'overground'
subways) are soooooo slow… but they drive so smoothly, there
is no need to hold on to the handrails..
- There is no wind, my blow-dried haircut looks still the
same after 5 hours.
- There is a very nice man in my apartment, but he is
still wiping and cleaning all the time after me
- My closet over here is definitively smaller, I still did
not find enough space for all my stuff
- If you ignore the “Stop” Sign at the pedestrian
x-ings, you risk a fine
- And most of all….my bedroom would be so quiet, if
only this nice man besides me would stopp snoring…….tbc
